Pine View 4.9 at 0800

June 24, 2011 By frenchy

Currently 64F, partly cloudy and calm. Wx conditions are ripe for a third peak this season. While massive flooding is unlikely (unless we get a large rain event up high), we will most likely see sustained flows around the 5′ level for at least the next four/five days. This equates to “Very Experienced” to “Expert” levels.

Remember, the water is high, the current is pushy and the River is in Charge!

Poudre Park Wx: Today: A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 3pm. Partly sunny, with a high near 86. North wind between 3 and 9 mph.

Tonight: A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms before midnight. Partly cloudy, with a low around 56. South wind 7 to 11 mph becoming northwest.

Have fun and Boat Safe!

Also, after a full day on the Riv, relax at the Mish tonight with the legendary Leo Kottke. After a long hiatus, Kottke is returning to entertain and inspire.
