Poudre Park Wx: Today: Showers and thunderstorms likely after noon. Some of the storms could produce heavy rainfall. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 81. East northeast wind between 6 and 8 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%.

Tonight: Scattered showers and thunderstorms, mainly before midnight. Some of the storms could produce heavy rainfall. Cloudy, with a low around 58. East wind at 6 mph becoming south. Chance of precipitation is 50%.

I hold this truth to be self-evident, the Riv is still quite FUN! Have a safe and fun Independence Day!

Currently 52.5F, sunny and calm. Poudre Park Wx: Independence Day: Isolated showers and thunderstorms after noon. Some of the storms could produce gusty winds. Mostly sunny, with a high near 92. Calm wind becoming east between 8 and 11 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.

Tonight: Isolated showers and thunderstorms before midnight. Some of the storms could produce gusty winds. Partly cloudy, with a low around 61. North wind between 5 and 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.

We very may have just seen Peak for the 2011 Boating Season this Independence Day weekend. There’s just one foot of snow left at JWR with 6″ SWE. It’s been one hellova long “Peak”. And, I think it’ll also be a long season! Happy Boatin’!
