Interesting Side Note- Spent most of the day in the yard yesterday (cept our jaunt down the Riv), and not a single boat observed floating past Camp Falbo- and for good reason! That’s a first for July 1.

Pine View 5.5 at 0930

July 1, 2011 By frenchy

Tough call this morn. The surge at the Rock is bouncing from 5 and a quarter up to as high as 6, but during a four minute analysis three sets of eyes all agree the median is 5.5. Debris and local witnesses show evidence of an even higher peak this morning.

Currently 60.6F, sunny and breezy. Poudre Park Wx: Today: Sunny, with a high near 83. North northwest wind between 5 and 15 mph, with gusts as high as 23 mph.

Tonight: A 10 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms before midnight. Partly cloudy, with a low around 58. Southwest wind at 9 mph becoming east northeast.

With 23″ of snow left on JWR, overnight highs well above freezing and sunny warm days forecast- we might see even more water tomorrow. Hard to say, for now, let’s just think about today. Boat Safe!!
