Currently 43˚F, sunny and calm. NOAA predicts- Today: Mostly sunny, with a high near 76. West wind between 4 and 7 mph becoming calm.

Tonight: A slight chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 40. Calm wind becoming north between 10 and 13 mph. Winds could gust as high as 21 mph. Chance of precipitation is 10%.

SNOTEL fro Joe Wright shows ONLY 5 inches of snow left… down from 8″ yesterday. It’s coming down fast and furious. Some predict the Riv has already peaked. I’m not joining that camp…just yet.

Just touching the bottom of the line, we are almost back to 2. Currently 55.6˚F, sunny and calm, it’s looking to be another beautiful day in the Canyon. We lost the 2″ gain at JW and are now sitting at a measly 8″ of snow with an unreadable snow-water equiv.

NOAA’s expectations for Poudre Park- Today: Sunny, with a high near 73. Calm wind becoming south around 5 mph.

Tonight: Mostly clear, with a low around 45. Light wind becoming west between 10 and 13 mph. Winds could gust as high as 20 mph.

If your glass is half empty, you can say a high 2.9- line is pretty bouncy right now. Currently 48˚F, sunny and calm. NOAA expects Today: Isolated showers after noon. Partly sunny, with a high near 56. East wind between 9 and 13 mph, with gusts as high as 18 mph. Chance of precipitation is 10%.

Tonight: Rain and snow likely. Cloudy, with a low around 38. East wind between 7 and 13 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New snow accumulation of less than one inch possible.

Colorado Marathon is running down the canyon today, so expect delays for at least another hour in the lower stretches of the Canyon. Cheers!
