Pine View 4.4 at 0730

June 9, 2013 By frenchy

Pine View a high 4.4- wave bounces it above the bar, but it’s a steady 4.4. Currently 50.6˚F, sunny and calm. Another beautiful day to be on the Riv.

NOAA expects Poudre Park Wx to be Sunny, with a high near 83. West northwest wind around 6 mph becoming calm in the morning.
Tonight Mostly clear, with a low around 56. Light southwest wind becoming west 5 to 10 mph in the evening. Winds could gust as high as 16 mph.

On the snowpack front- SNOTEL reports only 8″ of snow left at Joe Wright with a snow-water equivalency of 3.1 With high overnight temps, and the hot sunny day we had yesterday, we lost about 40% of what’s left up there in one 24hour period. With the predicted Wx on the forecast I would expect our snowpack to disappear quite soon.

Enjoy and be safe!
