Got Chocolate Milk? Poudre’s had a precipitous drop down to 2.2 and is flowing quite dark. Most likely due to a reported slide up by Pingree Park Road.

Currently 54.8˚F. Today NOAA Expects A 10 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after noon. Mostly sunny, with a high near 77. North wind 5 to 8 mph becoming east in the morning.

Tonight Mostly clear, with a low around 50. East wind 5 to 7 mph becoming calm.

Hey everyone, quick update from the water commish.

Water Supply (Larimer County Canal) is shutting down for the week. The river will drop tomorrow from 800 cfs to 500 cfs. Their plan is to turn back on Friday and that will bring the river back up to around 700. We could sure use some rain in the hills to help keep the river up.
