Currently 60.7˚F, overcast and calm. Hewlett Gauge reading just below 6′. This baby’s thumpin!!

Today’s expected Wx: A chance of showers, with thunderstorms also possible after noon. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 63. East southeast wind around 9 mph, with gusts as high as 15 mph. Chance of precipitation is 50%.

Tonight A chance of showers and thunderstorms before midnight, then a slight chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 47. East southeast wind 5 to 7 mph becoming west northwest after midnight. Chance of precipitation is 40%.

And for our Eastern brothers and sisters, the NWS just broadcast a flood warning for the Poudre into Greeley!

Very bouncy at the Rock! The average looks to be right on 4.25. Currently 48˚F, cloudy and damp. Hewlett Gauge looks to be 5.5′.

Expected Wx for today: A 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after noon. Partly sunny, with a high near 68. Light east wind becoming southeast 5 to 9 mph in the morning. Winds could gust as high as 15 mph.
Tonight A 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 49. South southeast wind 5 to 8 mph becoming light and variable.

Tonight Showers and thunderstorms likely, mainly before 8pm. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 48. Southeast wind 5 to 8 mph becoming calm. Chance of precipitation is 60%.

Safety Intel about the Upper Stretches of Riv

Just in from a fellow boater. Thanks Bryan Maddox for this intel:

Been boating up at the upper end of the river and have some info.
1 partial strainer(2/3) of the river above the firehouse on Spencer heights run. Clear river right
1 total strainer in sleeping elephant behind kinnikinik.
