Pine View 1.5 at 0700

April 25, 2015 By Camp Falbo

That’s right folks… April 25 and it’s at 1.5 already. Read on for a very important safety notice.

Joe Right SNOTEL: Snow Water Equivalent: 19.4 Snow Depth: 49″
Hewlett Bridge Gauge: 3.06 Feet; Flow: 480.3 Cubic Feet per Second
Mouth of Canyon: 3.96 feet; Flow: 612 cfs
*This confirms the appearance of more flow in Filter Plant Run than above.

Today’s expected Wx: Showers and thunderstorms likely, mainly after 3pm. Increasing clouds, with a high near 58. Southwest wind 3 to 7 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%.
TonightShowers and thunderstorms likely. Areas of fog after 3am. Otherwise, cloudy, with a low around 40. West wind 5 to 7 mph becoming light and variable in the evening. Chance of precipitation is 60%.

Safety Notice: There is a HUGE strainer in the middle of the Poudre Park Run. Ironically, it’s also in the middle of Poudre Park. It’s a tree still attached to the far shore (river left) and stretches 2/3 of the way across the channel. It’s between Falls Gulch and Columbine Lodge. Be Aware! And run left after you enter the community!
