SEVERE Strainer WARNING

May 7, 2020 By Camp Falbo

The Strainer warning from the other day has been upgraded to SEVERE! We scouted this tree yesterday and it is a river wide HUGE ponderosa. The original pic I received looked like a docile little lodge pole pine. NOPE.

This is exactly 0.45 mile downstream from Low/Stupid Bridge (Hwy 14 bridge between Dadd Gulch and Indian Meadows) and exactly 1/4 mile downstream from Dadd Gulch Put In (new stairs). This strainer is NOT passable. DO NOT attempt to go through, under or around this hazard!

(Note, I will continue to post this periodically until Mother Nature takes care of the problem. At which time I will hope whomever finds where it has landed next will inform me, so I can post the new location. Thank you!)
