Holiday Weekend Message

May 26, 2023 By Camp Falbo

Boaters and Anglers- today marks the beginning of the Holiday Weekend. Expect more people, heavy traffic, possible delays and parking issues. Be safe, play well together and get out and have some fun in the sun.

Reminder of a large tree trunk under Low (Stupid) Bridge on the Lower Narrows (just above Dadd Gulch). Also be on constant alert for new logs and other debris as the water rises and flushes out the winter.

If you are traveling to play on the water, be sure to get with locals for local knowledge and/or new hazards. On hazard I have been alerted of is on the Dearborn River in Montana. Just below 287 Bridge is a river-wide barbed wire fence. This is very bad and dangerous. (Thanks to Jeff Allen for this alert.)

Have a safe weekend!
