An idea of how fast our snowpack is dwindling. These values are from the first day I fired up the Rock Report this season, March 24. This is the first time in recent memory (or ever) that I started publishing the PRR in March. On this day it was 0.8 on the Rock, with a March “peak” of 2.25 on the 27th. The second column below represents the number of inches of water in the snow (Snow Water Equivalent). The third column is the actual depth of the snow, and the fourth is the overnight air temperature in F. The good news is, we have a cooling wave on the horizon with some precipitation. Do the snow dance!!
