Pine View 2.6 at 0615

Pine View holding steady. Huge rain yesterday. Not sure which gulch flooded, but the Filter Plant is chocolate milk this morning. Currently 60˚F, sunny and damp.

Hewlett Gulch Bridge: 3.54 Feet; Flow: 743.7 Cubic Feet per Second
Mouth of the Canyon: 3.95 ft 565 cfs
Current Air Temperature: 60˚F
Last Water Temperature: 62˚F

Today’s expected Wx: A 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 3pm. Partly sunny, with a high near 87. West wind 5 to 8 mph becoming south in the afternoon.

Tonight: A 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly before 9pm. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 60. West wind 6 to 9 mph, with gusts as high as 15 mph.

THE AFTERNOON HOURS. EXPECT HEAVY RAIN…SMALL HAIL..AND GUSTY
WINDS TO 45 MPH WITH THE STORMS. SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL
GRADUALLY SPREAD OVER THE NORTHEAST PLAINS THIS EVENING BEFORE
DIMINISHING AFTER MIDNIGHT.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY

ISOLATED TO SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE EACH DAY
THROUGH THE PERIOD WITH THE MAIN THREATS BEING LOCALLY HEAVY
RAINFALL…LIGHTNING AND GUSTY WINDS. THERE IS A SLIGHT CHANCE
FOR STRONGER STORMS OVER THE FAR NORTHEASTERN PLAINS THURSDAY
EVENING…WHERE LARGER HAIL COULD OCCUR.

Pine View 2.6 at 1130

Pine View with a slight bump, up to 2.6, maybe a low 2.7. Sorry for no post yesterday. We had a structure fire in the Upper Canyon and was on it the whole day.

Hewlett Gulch Bridge: 3.59 Feet; Flow: 775 Cubic Feet per Second
Mouth of the Canyon: 3.96 ft 573 cfs

Current air Temp: 88˚F
Last water Temp: 62˚F

Today’s expected Wx: A 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after noon. Partly sunny, with a high near 84. Southwest wind 5 to 7 mph.

Tonight: A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly before 9pm. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 60. West wind 5 to 8 mph.

Pine View 2.35 at 1200

Pine View is a high 2.3, but not high enough to call a 2.4 at NOON today. Currently 84˚F, sunny and breezy.

* NOTE*
The unresolved issue from Friday had come to a conclusion at 1230 yesterday afternoon. River Conditions and access have been returned to normal status. In Fact, the Issue had come to a conclusion a mere hour and a half after the water commissioners slowed the flow out of our upper reservoirs. Therefore the interruption in flow was minimal. Float on!!

Hewlett Gulch Bridge: 3.48 Feet; Flow: 706.2 Cubic Feet per Second
(This is the first major disparity between Hewlett and the Rock, this season)
Mouth of the Canyon: 3.83 ft 478 cfs
Current Air Temperature at NOON: 84˚F
Current H20 Temperature at NOON: 60˚F

Today’s expected Wx: A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 2pm. Partly sunny, with a high near 82. Southeast wind 8 to 10 mph, with gusts as high as 17 mph.

Tonight: A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms before midnight. Partly cloudy, with a low around 57. East southeast wind 5 to 10 mph becoming light and variable after midnight. Winds could gust as high as 16 mph.

Due to an unresolved incident in the river last night there may be a significant drop in the water levels for the next couple of days (if Northern Water obliges the request) and you will see a significant Dive Rescue, Search and Rescue and Emergency Services presence in the River today, and potentially tomorrow. This is NOT a Training Exercise! Please do not interfere with this operation nor cause unnecessary interruption between the Emergency Workers and their duties. Thank you for your understanding and, compassionate compliance.

Today’s expected Wx: A 10 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 3pm. Mostly sunny, with a high near 87. Calm wind becoming southwest 5 to 8 mph in the afternoon.

Tonight: A 10 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms before 7pm. Partly cloudy, with a low around 58. Southwest wind 6 to 8 mph becoming northwest in the evening.

Last H20 Temp (yesterday at 1600): 62˚F

Today’s Expected Wx: A 10 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 4pm. Sunny, with a high near 83. West wind 5 to 7 mph becoming light and variable.

Tonight: A 10 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms before midnight. Partly cloudy, with a low around 56. Southeast wind 5 to 8 mph becoming west southwest after midnight.
