This will be my last transmission for 2012 (unless we get another bump). So, have a great winter and see you next year.

Pine View 1.5 at 0900 this Labor Day

September 3, 2012 By frenchy

Yackers and open boaters who just need one more day on the Riv- don’t put your boats away just yet. Yesterday’s rain gave us a little push and we’re at a solid 1.5 today. The water’s a little brown (as you would expect) but not black!

It’s currently already 71˚F, sunny and BEA-youtiful in the Canyon this morning. If not boating, take a ride up to the Mish for a beer and a burger. Summer hours/days won’t last for long- take advantage of the rare Monday off and spend it having fun.

Also, don’t forget the Sustainable Living Fair is coming up in less than two weeks! Sept 15 &16 in Legacy Park Fort Collins.

Today, NOAA expects Mostly sunny, with a high near 81. West northwest wind 5 to 9 mph becoming light and variable in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 15 mph.
Tonight Partly cloudy, with a low around 54. Light and variable wind becoming west 5 to 9 mph in the evening. Winds could gust as high as 15 mph.

Pine View below gauge

August 30, 2012 By frenchy

As August comes to and end, so does any semblance of the boating season we just had. I do have to admit it lasted surprisingly longer than expected, albeit at low flows.

Let us all enjoy a quiet and peaceful Fall season. And don’t forget to do a snow dance! See y’all next year. Until then (or something remarkable happening in the meantime), this is Camp Falbo’s last transmission for the 2012 Fire, um, I mean boating season. I bid you Adieu, Auf wiedersehen, Guzuntight, Farewll
