I can see the 1.5 bar…but it’s under water. This tells me two things- it’s higher than 1.5 (just barely) and the water is clear enough to see under water (just barely).

It is currently 61˚F, sunny and calm. NOAA expects A slight chance of showers, then a chance of showers and thunderstorms after 10am. Partly sunny, with a high near 85. Calm wind becoming north northwest 5 to 8 mph in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 50%.

Flash Flood WARNING

July 27, 2012 By frenchy

Boaters and anglers- the NWS has issued a Flash Flood WARNING for the Poudre River and ALL of her tributaries in the High Park Fire and Hewlett Gulch Fire burn areas! Tributaries include watersheds that may not normally flow water except during MAJOR flooding rains.

A WARNING means flooding is imminent or already in progress.

This Flash Flood Warning is valid until 1600hrs today. This means we can expect to see the river come up, blacken and have more debris floating in her. We may also see mudslides close the road for unspecified periods of time. Do NOT attempt to drive in moving water across the road!

Be SAFE. Be SMART.
