Currently 50F, partly cloudy and calm. We may be at the beginning of a slow climb to actual (or second) peak for this season (despite what the geniuses wrote in the paper last week).

HIGH WATER ALERT- The Poudre Canyon Fire Dept and Larimer County Emergency Services (DRT) has been on four incidents in the canyon in the last 48 hours. Two incidents were a boat chase, while the other two were actual rescues, one of which ended with two boaters in the hospital!

The water is high, the current is pushy, and the River is in charge! We are approaching peak- if you have the slightest doubt about whether you should be on the river or not, belive in your gut feeling. The Riv’s going to be with us a while this season, you can always go next week!
