May 8, 2016 By Camp Falbo

Game On! Pine View just below 3 this am. Currently 39.8˚F, overcast, breezy and damp.

Hewlett Bridge Gauge: Inactive (guess they are still working out some bugs)
Mouth of the Canyon: 5.32 ft 2010 cfs
N. Fork below Seaman: 6.94 ft 1580 cfs
N. Fork at Livermore: 1470 cfs

Today’s expected Wx: Showers likely, with thunderstorms also possible after noon. Cloudy, with a high near 50. Calm wind becoming southeast 5 to 9 mph in the morning. Winds could gust as high as 15 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%.

Tonight: A chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 40. Light and variable wind becoming west northwest 5 to 7 mph after midnight. Chance of precipitation is 50%.

Of Note- the poly tank that was in the river above Grey Rock Bridge has been mitigated. Before the Riv came up the tank was dislodged and floated downstream about 6/10 of a mile. Thanks to the efforts of Ranger Rob and Schyler King, and a few passerby boaters, it was found and removed from the Riv just above Killer Bridge. Thanks guys!!

Pine View Update for Today- 2.7 at 1250hrs.

May 7, 2016 By Camp Falbo

Breaking from the diurnal cycle, we are going up as the day goes on. Could be the Wx, which currently is 46.1˚F and DUMPING. We’ve had a touch of hail, but nothing like the eastern plains. Say a couple die hard yakers float by Camp Falbo a minute ago… you go boaters!!

Stay safe. And also, remember we are still in a burn area, and subject to flash flooding out of any of our side canyons and gulches.

Hewlett Bridge Gauge: 3.5 ft. 719.1 cfs (Yay- the Hewlett Gauge is back up and running!)
Mouth of the Canyon: 4.67 ft 1240 cfs (120 cfs bump from this morn)
N.Fork below Seaman: 6.04 ft 842 cfs

Today’s expected Wx: WET

Stay safe all.
