Poudre RiverFest is a free, family-friendly festival that restores, celebrates and educates people about the Cache la Poudre River. Proceeds from the festival support local conservation and education nonprofit groups in Fort Collins, Colorado.

Experience scientific research at a bird banding station and go on nature walks to learn about the river and its inhabitants.
Volunteer to enhance wildlife habitat along the river with hands-on service projects.
Learn about conserving the Poudre River and its resources through a photo scavenger hunt and kids’ activities.
Connect with local organizations that conserve the river.

“Mouth” is a gauge on the Main Stem of the Poudre near the Mouth of the Canyon.
“Seaman” refers to the North Fork of the Poudre just below Seaman Reservoir.
“SNOTEL” is Natural Resources Conservation Service’s snow depth gauge at Joe Wright Reservoir.
“SWE” is the Snow Water Equivalent of the snow depth (how much water is in that snow).
“Snow Depth” is… well… self explanatory!
