October boating at it’s finest

Sunny, clear skies, wind and fall colors. Sunday should be sunny and warm again, get out and enjoy the weather/water while you can!

And for a random tidbit, 66 years ago today (Oct 5), President Harry S. Truman gave the first televised presidential speech. On a less serious note, in 1969 Monty Python’s Flying Circus debuted on the BBC.

Water level was up a bit from Wednesday, temperature down a bit.

If pessimistic, 1.5+, optimistic 1.6-.

I’m amazed the drop off is as slow as it is from the storms. plenty of small side creeks are still flowing.

The canyon is getting pretty with colors changing, even better when floating downstream with a sunset in the sky too.

Dropped some during the day. I would say 1.8 at 9am and 1.7 at 3:40 and a bit below that at 5:50.
