Watch out if you’re trying to slide between the split rock in Poudre Park (above the 1st bridge below Hewlett’s), there’s log sitting on the upstream side across the entrance that’s just under water level right now. Not sure when it’ll flush out.

Folks, there is a new rock gauge on Spencer Heights. It’s located at the top of the pull out beside Boneyard, or just below the bridge downstream from Poudre Falls (on river left). You need to scramble down the bank a bit to find it. So if you’re driving in the upper canyon, please stop, get a reading and post it to the rock report (as a comment to the last post). Thanks!

Currently 48.9F, sunny and windy. Look for debris in Riv, lots of branches and whole trees came down in the wind yesterday. There’s a full 50′ Pondi down between BTO and the North Poudre Diversion- fortunately not in the Riv nor on the Road!

Wx for Poudre Park: Today: Sunny, with a high near 76. South southwest wind between 9 and 13 mph, with gusts as high as 21 mph.

Tonight: Mostly clear, with a low around 49. Southeast wind 5 to 10 mph becoming west.

Overnight low at Cameron Pass is 31F tonight, warming to high 30’s for overnight lows the next few days!
