As I noted last night, the River has been re-opened from Rustic to Ted’s Place. Please be mindful of emergency services personnel in the area and respectful of our residents. Also note, the conditions of debris in the river can change minute by minute. What was clear on your way up to run shuttle, may not be by the time you get on the river. Also be aware we are still missing three people. If you see something that looks suspicious or out of place, or feel like you see something that looks like a person in the water, please call the Sheriff’s non-emergency number immediately at 970-416-1985 (if you forget this number 911 will work) and give a detailed description of location (mile markers and/or popular landmarks are good, as Dispatch doesn’t know our river features and names). If possible, leave one of your party with the person to ensure they don’t move and to help flag in the Team.
