Hey everyone, quick update from the water commish.
Water Supply (Larimer County Canal) is shutting down for the week. The river will drop tomorrow from 800 cfs to 500 cfs. Their plan is to turn back on Friday and that will bring the river back up to around 700. We could sure use some rain in the hills to help keep the river up.
Flows in the upper canyon on Sunday @ 1pm:
Joe Wright = Low. Scout for wood in the mini gorge in the runout of Carnito Canyon, and look out for a river-wide strainer in the top third of the run. The rest of the run is clean as of this afternoon.
Big South = Med-low (3rd mark on the painted rock below the BS bridge). The Long Draw road will be open daily from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. starting July 1, with no overnight activity allowed in the area.
