Sorry for late post, thumpin at a low 5. Currently 57.8F, partly cloudy and calm. Wx for PP: Late Afternoon: A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 75. South southwest wind around 9 mph.

Tonight: A slight chance of showers and thunderstorms before 9pm, then a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms after midnight. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 52. Southwest wind between 6 and 9 mph becoming calm. Chance of precipitation is 20%.

Pine View a solid 5 at 0700. Currently 57.8F, partly cloudy and breezy. Wx for Poudre Park: Today: Scattered showers and thunderstorms after noon. Partly sunny, with a high near 79. West southwest wind 5 to 10 mph becoming east northeast. Chance of precipitation is 40%.

Tonight: A slight chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 54. Calm wind becoming west northwest between 6 and 9 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.

Pine View 4.9 at 1130. Guessing it was at or just above 5 at daybreak. Currently 70.1F, sunny and breezy. Poudre Park Wx: This Afternoon: Mostly sunny, with a high near 80. West southwest wind between 7 and 9 mph.

Tonight: Isolated showers after midnight. Partly cloudy, with a low around 53. West wind between 7 and 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 10%.

Another warm night at JWR (36F) could mean higher water tomorrow.

Little South Update

As clean as I’ve seen the run… great level… surging 85/90 on the gauge at the top and splashing over the 2nd marker rock at the bottom.

We put on at 6:15… probably close to the daily peak… and ran it in under 2 hours… but if the wheels fall off the wagon in there it can take a lot longer… difficult river-side terrain and a gnarly walk out should it come to that… I’ve been with groups that have taken 5 hours, other’s have overnighted…

Only one real wood issue… the tree/rock sieve 3/4 down the bigger rapid near the end is horrible with lots of water pushing left into it. Stay right!
