Pine View 4.9 this morn. Currently 53.4F, sunny and calm. Poudre Park Wx: oday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 76. Southeast wind between 5 and 9 mph.

Tonight: A 10 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms before midnight. Partly cloudy, with a low around 47. East southeast wind at 9 mph becoming west northwest.

Pine View solid 5.0 at 0800

Still a bit bouncy, the Rock wave median is a 5.0. Currently 52.0F, overcast and damp. Poudre Park Wx: Today: A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 2pm. Partly sunny, with a high near 67. East southeast wind between 3 and 9 mph.

Tonight: A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms before midnight. Partly cloudy, with a low around 46. Calm wind becoming west northwest between 15 and 18 mph. Winds could gust as high as 30 mph.

With overnight lows at JWR cooler than previously expected (31.6F) the Riv’s peak may be delayed a few days. We still have 76″ of snow with 42.5″ water equivalent.

Pine View Holding at 4.9+ at 0800

Just below the 5 Bar, the Riv’s holding at a high 4.9. Currently 59.1F. Poudre Park Wx: Today: Scattered showers and thunderstorms after 2pm. Increasing clouds, with a high near 75. South southeast wind between 10 and 16 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph. Chance of precipitation is 40%.

Tonight: A 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms before midnight. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 46. South southeast wind between 7 and 15 mph, with gusts as high as 24 mph.

Near freezing overnights at JWR may keep the Riv at current level the next day or so. However, with the slight chance for rain at Cameron, we’ll have to wait to see.
