Today: A 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after noon. Patchy fog before 10am. Otherwise, mostly cloudy, with a high near 55. West southwest wind between 6 and 11 mph.

Tonight: A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms before midnight. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 39. West wind between 9 and 15 mph, with gusts as high as 22 mph.

Kissing the bottom of the bar. Currently 43.5F and drizzling. Lots of new debris getting caught in strange places. Be sure to scout the Riv on your way up.

Wx for Poudre Park:

Today: A chance of showers, then showers and possibly a thunderstorm after noon. High near 57. South southwest wind at 10 mph becoming east southeast. Chance of precipitation is 90%.

Tonight: Showers and possibly a thunderstorm. Low around 40. East southeast wind 5 to 7 mph becoming north. Chance of precipitation is 100%.

Currently 45.2F, overcast and calm. The sun looks like it wants to burn through the clouds, but we’ll see. Wx for Poudre Park: Today: A 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after noon. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 60. South southwest wind around 5 mph becoming calm.

Bigger and better than ever before…

What was suspiciously looking like a huge runoff in the making is becoming more of a certainty. We continue to grow the snowpack water content on Cameron Pass to historic highs, and we’re looking at yet another big weather week starting Wednesday. Things should stay cool… pushing the runoff closer and closer to the summer heat and the potential for a super high peak. Better go rinse off those dancing shoes…
