Upper North Fork of the Poudre: Low [6/1/07]

Upper North Fork of the Poudre was at a Low level today. It was a great float trip; very scenic, but bring the fishing rods…

Note: All 4 (or was it 5?) of the barbwire fences were easily navigable.  There are at least 2 log portages in the top section, above the start of the rapids. The flat water paddle out takes a while at this flow.

The ’10-footer’ is more like a 5 footer now. Most of the other rapids on the run are boney. Watch for wood and hope for higher flows.
