Pine View 2.25 at 0900 and BLACK

July 7, 2012 By frenchy

Our last rain was hours ago and the Riv is still running BLACK with brown caps instead of whitecaps. Showers and thunderstorms likely, mainly after noon. Some of the storms could produce heavy rain. Cloudy, with a high near 71. East wind 5 to 8 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%.
Tonight Showers and thunderstorms likely before midnight, then showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm after midnight. Some of the storms could produce heavy rain. Cloudy, with a low around 55. East wind 3 to 6 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%.

Flooding rains are expected through Monday.

Listen folks- Flooding is going to happen- not “may” happen. If you insist on coming up this weekend, pay attention to the Wx, be heads up, and if the rain is heavy and the Riv starts to rise- head for higher ground! We don’t need any more statistics in the Canyon this year. Have fun and be safe!
