Beginner Kayaking:
Two Day Fast Track: Was your first day in a whitewater kayak as a student in one of our Two Day Fast Track Classes? If so, now is a great time to share that experience with your friends and loved ones. We have two 2DFT’s this month with spots available in both. See availability and pricing here.
Roll Class: Learn how to properly and effectively roll a whitewater kayak from an experienced instructor in this half day course. Last class is Aug. 12th.

Intermediate Kayaking: Are you comfortable in Class II, but hoping to master Class III before the end of the season? Then check out our Intro to River Running course. Last class is Aug. 13th and spots are filling fast.

Stand Up Paddle Boarding: Check out our SUP Basics course on Aug. 26th. This half-day class will provide you with the basic skills to get out on your local body of water safely and with confidence.  Kids welcome.

Happy 147th Birthday Colorado. On this day in 1876 we became a state! After its first bid for statehood was vetoed by President Andrew Johnson, Colorado entered the Union on August 1, 1876, the year the United States celebrated its centennial. Thus, the thirty-eighth state is known as the Centennial State.

Currently 61˚F, damp and overcast. The Riv is dark chocolate brown! Another 1/2″ rain at the Rustic Gage. However, this bump to 2.4 and the color of the Riv indicates we got a whole lot more than that, and probably over the Cameron Peak Burn Scar! Watch for debris!!
