NEW FOR 2024:

Intro. to Self Support Kayaking: Are you a beginner/Intermediate kayaker that has always wanted to explore Kayak Camping? Join us June 7th-9th on a overnight adventure through Northgate Canyon of the N. Platte River, a Class II/III canyon in remote Northern Colorado. Students will learn strategies and skills for packing for multi-day trips in a kayak, paddling in remote wilderness in a loaded boat, and group management in wilderness environments. Students are expected to bring their own camping equipment (lightweight backpack style) and kayaking gear (rentals available). RMA will provide all transportation, logistics, food, and community equipment (kitchen, bathroom, etc.). An excellent introduction to the incredible world of expeditionary whitewater kayaking. Click here for pricing and availability.
Swift Water Basics: This 1 Day ACA L2 course introduces students to the basics of swift water rescue. Excellent for families (min. age of 7) who recreate on the river and those who are interested in starting their SWR education but not ready to commit to the full course. Click here for pricing and availability.
Swift Water Rescue: Expanded to 3 classes this season. This 2 1/2 Day ACA L4 course takes a deep dive into wading, swimming, and rope work for your next paddling adventure. This class teaches you to better recognize and avoid common river hazards. You will learn self-rescue techniques and rescue techniques to use with other paddlers in distress. The classes emphasizes both personal safety and simple, commonly used rescue skills.  Click here for pricing and availability.
See You On The River,
RMA
