Sorry for getting your hopes up. Our texting system had some glitches at the end of the season and the tech peeps are working on it and the system errantly sent a text saying the Rock is at 1.3 and/or 2.25. That is not the case, the Riv is at a trickle. If you get any more reports in the coming days boasting an improbable flow for this time of the year, it most likely is.

Big bump overnight, thanks to some good, steady rain. Unfortunately the Rustic rain gage is inactive at the moment, but Hewlett Gulch rain gage is posting 0.79″ for the last 24 hours. I’m guessing similar rain up high. I hope you didn’t put away your gear yet!!

This will be my final Rock Report of the Season, just four days after last year’s sign off, and same water level. It has been a great (cool and wet) season on the Poudre this year!
