Interesting Water Tidbit: With these rains we have improved our water situation for the time being. Snow Water Equivalent % of Normal has been pretty high all season for the SW corner. Our watershed has been hanging around the 80’s%. After the latest rains the S. Platte (our watershed) is at 118%, but get this… The Gunnison watershed is at 928% of Normal!!

Wow we got some rain yesterday! Rainfall overcame the typical diurnal cycle of peak flows around 0500. We went from a morning report of 3.8 to an afternoon that saw the water go over 4.5! In the last couple days we have had over 2″ of rain in Poudre Park, with the bulk of that yesterday.
